Lucy: Extended TV Spot for Scarlett Johansson Film

Scarlett Johansson gains superhuman powers as a result of accidentally ingesting a mysterious drug. And now she’s out for revenge. Lucy is the latest film from writer/director Luc Besson (The Professional, The Fifth Element, La Femme Nikita) starring Scarlett Johansson in the title role. Lucy is a woman who is accidentally caught in a dark deal and is forced to become a drug mule. When the drugs are absorbed into Lucy’s system, she turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. Lucy’s new powers include telekinesis, the elimination of all sensations of pain or discomfort, and the ability to absorb knowledge instantaneously.

Lucy also stars Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman and is produced by Virginie Besson-Silla for EuropaCorp. The film will be in theaters on August 8, 2014.
