Snowpiercer: First Official U.S. Trailer
May 30th, 2014Snowpiercer is the upcoming post-apocalyptic film from Korean director Bong Joon-Ho (The Host). The story is set in a new ice age caused by a failed experiment to stop global warming that killed virtually all life on the planet. The sole survivors live on a train called Snowpiercer built by the Wilford corporation that is powered by a perpetual machine and never stops moving. The passengers struggle with the class system implemented on the train.
Snowpiercer has already been released in Korea and there has been some controversy about which version of the film will make it to the U.S. Expect the film to appear in U.S. theaters on June 27, 2014. Let’s just hope it’s as good as it promises to be.
