Incredible Visual of Particles Swirling Around Earth

Climate scientist Gavin Schmidt put together this fascinating visualization of many types of particles as they travel and swirl around Earth. The red-orange particles are dust, white are pollution from burning coal and volcanoes, red dots are fires over a particular time period, and blue is seasalt in the air.
