Rinzler access to the complete set of storyboards for the original Star Wars trilogy and the result is what promises to be a fascinating new book with new insights into the making of the films. Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy will go on sale on May 13, 2014 and is available now for pre-order. The book contains iconic storyboards from the films, including by artists Joe Johnston, Alex Tavoularis, Ivor Beddoes and rarely seen Episode VI boards by Roy Carnon, and Ralph McQuarrie’s never-before-seen storyboards for Episode V.
Rinzler is the author of New York Times bestsellers The Making of Star Wars and The Making of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, so his credentials in George Lucas’s world are without question.
