Robocop 2014: Making the Suit VFX Reel
April 23rd, 2014Legacy Effects is the studio tasked with creating the suit for the recent José Padilha Robocop film.
In this behind-the-scenes reel, they give us a look into what went into creating the suit we see on screen. From the initial design to fabrication and fitting and adding the lighting effects, creating a suit like this for use in shooting is an enormous undertaking. The team had to make many versions of each suit including the V1, which was based on the original Robocop suit to the latest, modern V3 suit.
