On April 26, 2014 Fuel Entertainment will travel to Alamogordo, New Mexico to the site where Atari allegedly buried millions of unsold game copies of E.T.: The Extraterrestial for the Atari 2600 back in 1983. The company is going to dig up the site and see what’s buried there. And, they’ll be creating a documentary film surrounding the myths, facts and exploration of the legend.

While we all wait to see the heaps of game cartridges exposes again to the light of day, enjoy this gameplay footage from a game frequently referred to as one of the worst games ever made:
