The Walking Dead: Making of Episode 414 (The Grove)

by Kenny Hoeschen

[Spoiler alert]

AMC takes us behind the scenes on this past week’s episode of The Walking Dead (Episode 414, The Grove), in which Tyreese and Carol find a home next to a pecan grove in which to rest for a while. But when Lizzie and Mika are pursued by burnt Walkers, things get very bad very quickly.

In the video above, we go inside the shooting of the scene where the sisters are chased by the Walkers and Carol and Tyrese must run to help. We hear from Greg Nicotero and the four actors what went into making the intense scene. And the special effects wizards show us how the gruesome charred Walkers were created.

Below, The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman introduces the episode and how the new world is affecting Lizzie and Mikia.
