Reasons To Be Miserable: by Marvin the Paranoid Android

by Kenny Hoeschen

Everyone loves Marvin, the Paranoid Android fromĀ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. Marvin first was first given voice by Stephen Moore on the BBC radio and television series, then later by Steven Fry in the 2005 Hollywood movie.

But it was Stephen Moore who first recorded Reasons To Be Miserable back in 1981 and YouTuber Erin Madden decided to take the catchy little tune and put it to animation. It’s not Pixar and we’re sorry to see she went with the 2005 image of Marvin instead of the original from the BBC series, but it’s still good fun so when we came across it purely by chance we chose to share it.
