Fathoms: An Animated Short Set in an Underwater World
March 17th, 2014This wonderful animated short was created by Joe Russ and inspired by the loss of his father to cancer when Joe was just 17. The film was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign and Joe created it working nights and weekends over a period of six years.
Fathoms is an animated film about hope and despair. Follow Sam, Evan, and Hippo the cat as they struggle to survive and find meaning in a flooded world haunted by remnants of the past.
