The Altered States of America: Prints Are On Sale

We shared the very cool The Altered States of America project when it was but a wee Kickstarter dream. Since then, the funding exceed the goal and the Chop Shop artists have completed the maps of United States populated with the legendary events and characters from popular science fiction, horror and fantasy.

You can choose from regional maps or the entire U.S.A. You can even get a print of just New Jersey, home of the famous and fictional alien landing in Orson Welles’s War of the Worlds. There’s also a guide showing what iconic characters or scenes are included in each state. Texas ends up with Zombieland and the “cigarette smoking man” from The X-Files (among others) and Minnesota has the Satellite of Love from MST3K. See a larger version of the map here.

All Giclée prints are Epson digital on Moab Entrada archival white paper or screen prints done by Valhalla Studios on French Paper 100lb Whitewash.
