What if the HAL 9000 Was the OS in the Film Her?

Of course, we all know that the advanced computer system, HAL 9000, was one of the stars of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and that Joaquin Phoenix’s character in Her has an intimate relationship with his new artificial intelligence operating system played by Scarlett Johansson. But what if we mashed up those two scenarios and it was HAL who starred in Her alongside Phoenix?
