Everything Wrong with 1997’s Batman & Robin
January 29th, 2014CinemaSins can usually pull apart a full-length movie and find all its sins and foibles in a matter of a few minutes. For example, Iron Man 3: 9 minutes, Daredevil: 8 minutes, even the horrible 1998 remake of Godzilla was done in less than 7 minutes. Yet, when they pull back the blanket on 1997’s Batman and Robin starring George Clooney, Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone, they spend 17 minutes wading through the muck, resulting in the highest “sin count” of any film they’ve looked at.
Enjoy CinemaSins’ tearing apart of Batman & Robin, from the Batnipples on the Batsuits to the miracle workings of Mr. Freeze’s freeze ray to the physics-defying acrobatics of the Boy Wonder.
