The Hobbit: The Whole Story Told in 30 Seconds

It is taking Peter Jackson something like nine hours to tell the tale of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Then John Kloess comes along and, instead, gives it to us in 30 seconds. Kloess may have missed one or two subtleties in the original story and, although it went by quickly, it at least held our attention for the entire film. More than we can say about some of Jackson’s retellings. We’re looking at you, long, sweeping shots of people walking through New Zealand.
