Kichwa: A Time Travel Paradox

by Kenny Hoeschen

We all know the idea that traveling back in time could theoretically affect the present world — a time travel paradox, as it’s called. In this short film by Francois De Morangies, Arnaud Jourdan, Thibault Stoyanov and Julie Barthel, then students at ESMA in Montpelier, France, a group of time travelers leaves behind one object: a pop-up tent. But what harm could a little tent have on the future? Well, they can’t risk that and must return to the past, where the Quichua people have discovered the pop-up, and retrieve it.
