The Star Wars Asteroid Scene with Storyboarding

Lucasfilm has been posting some great clips recently of the making of the original Star Wars trilogy. Now we have this clip showing the famous Millennium Falcon escape through the asteroid field with the original storyboards from the filming showed side by side. It’s always fun to see how some of these iconic scenes came together, but we can skip the “making of” clip when it comes to the pod racing scene from Episode I, thank you very much. We’ll assume the storyboard is simply an annoying nine-year-old kid miraculously winning in a race against professionals.
