The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Cast’s Trailer Breakdown
December 6th, 2013The first official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was just released and now we have a breakdown of the trailer with the cast and crew of the film. Director Marc Webb begins with the iconic shot of Spider-Man diving toward Earth. We also get to hear from the stars of the film, including Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Dane DeHaan.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is Marc Webb’s sequel to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man. In the film, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), leads a busy life — between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away — but that’s a promise he just can’t keep.
Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. We will also see Paul Giamatti as the bull-headed Russian mobster Aleksei Sytsevich, who later becomes the Rhino.
