Batkid Saves Gotham City aka San Francisco
November 19th, 2013The Make-a-Wish Foundation made this young boy’s dreams come true. 5-year-old Miles has been battling Leukemia since he was two years old and the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the city and people of San Francisco made his dream of being Batman a reality.
Police Chief Greg Suhr called in Batkid to help Batman rescue a damsel in distress from cable car tracks, capture the Riddler as he attempted to rob a bank, and save the Giants’ mascot, Lou Seal, from the Penguin’s clutches. Batkid and Batman battled the evils thanks to a speedy Lamborghini Batmobile and thousands of onlookers cheering on their exploits.
What a wonderful story. We certainly wish young Miles all the best going forward and we’re glad he was there to help fight the bad guys. Now, I think I have something in my eye.
