Andrew Hegele of the JoBlo Movie Network sits down with Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, and Asa Butterfield to discuss Ender’s Game. Butterfield discusses his long love of the science fiction genre. Ford, who plays Colonel Hyrum Graff, discusses the interesting issues between his character and Butterfield, who plays Ender Wiggin. Steinfeld, plays Petra Arkanian, discusses her introduction to the book and her approach to the film.

The film Ender’s Game is based on the highly regarded Orson Scott Card novel of the same name and hits theaters on November 1. Scott Card’s novel won the 1985 Nebula Award for best novel and the 1986 Hugo Award for best novel. The story centers around Andrew “Ender” Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), who is recruited by the International Fleet at the age of six because of his promise in the early monitoring done by the IF. Ender begins his training at Battle School immediately after he’s recruited and his exceptional promise becomes apparent. After Ender is chosen to lead Earth’s armies against the Buggers, Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the legendary commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) are assigned the difficult task of ensuring that Ender will be ready for the epic battle.

Ender’s Game enters U.S. theaters on November 1.
