An Honest Trailer for Pacific Rim

We really enjoyed Pacific Rim, having watched it on 2D and IMAX 3D at the theaters and watching the Blu-ray twice since its release last week (you’re welcome, Guillermo). But the Screen Junkies show no favoritism and rightly skewer some of the film’s most egregious issues in this Honest Trailer.

We have often wondered why Raleigh and Mako were saving that mega-sword until the fight was almost over. But, it seems Screen Junkies missed an easy one: a measly four helicopters are capable of carrying a Jaeger into combat? Really, because Rhett Allain of Wired estimates the number of helicopters required to be around 640.

Now … to cue up the Pacific Rim extras reel for tonight’s viewing.
