Life Looks for Life: The Sagan Series, Part 2

by Kenny Hoeschen

Carl Sagan was a true visionary of mankind and our perception of our place in the cosmos. Reid Gower’s The Sagan Series is a profound series of videos in which Gower simply sets Sagan’s words to imagery from the Earth and space with the goal of promoting scientific literacy in the general population. Breathtaking cinematography and a mesmerizing soundtrack lends a powerful scenery to Sagan’s narration from his hit TV series, Cosmos: A Personal Voyage.

The Sagan Series Chapter 2: Life Looks for Life is embedded above, which Sagan postulates about whether we are alone in this universe and our perspectives on life elsewhere. We like to share the chapters on MightyMega on occasion, but the remaining chapters are available on the Sagan Series website at any time along with Gower’s TEdx talk, Defining the Frontier.
