Making of The Hobbit Special Effects

Weta Digital, the special effects wizards from New Zealand, shared this amazing behind-the-scenes footage of the making of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. We see the green screen filming that was done in Bilbo’s home, the battle with the Stone Trolls, Bilbo and the dwarves entering Rivendell, the incredible animation of Gollum, and much more. The work done by Weta is incredible and we’re constantly astounded how much can be added after filming.
