The Last Thing You’ll See: A Final Shot Movie Montage

This short montage video is inspired by The Final Image, a blog that captures the final image from films. The film’s arc begins with the Awakening/Creation and continues through The Natural World, Youth, Love, The Journey, Triumph, Celebration and, finally, Transcendence.

Of course, we’re partial to some of the science fiction films included, particularly 2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture along with the clip from The Right Stuff, but so many of these films have memorably, emotional endings that this whole montage is simply moving.
