Everything Wrong With Star Trek Into Darkness

by Kenny Hoeschen

CinemaSins takes a look at the latest film in the Star Trek world, this year’s Star Trek Into Darkness, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

We never could see why James Kirk was rewarded in this film for “not following the rules,” since Star Fleet has certainly thought through their rules carefully and they are in place for a reason. And why did Lieutenant Uhura find it appropriate to bring up relationship issues with Mr. Spock in the middle of a critical mission?

If you like this one, you can see some other great looks at the sins of science fiction films by CinemaSins for DaredevilSuperman ReturnsMen In Black 3Godzilla (1998), and Kick-Ass.
