What If Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Was Good?

by Kenny Hoeschen

We previously shared Michael Barryte’s look at Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, in which he examined how he would change that film to make it good. Prior to that, Barryte looked at Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and what it would take to make that good.

He begins by pointing out that Episode I was lacking a main character, at that it should really be Obi Wan’s story. And he, thankfully, finds that Jar-Jar adds nothing to the story and can be left on the cutting room floor altogether. We’ll let you listen to the entire analysis and hypothetical changes to the film.
