A Gotham Fairytale: A Storyboard Adventure

Author and illustrator Mauricio Abril created this terrific storyboard animation, A Gotham Fairytale, over the past 18+ months. The film is made of a series of storyboards drawn by Abril and edited together. In this case, the film was made with over 200 black and white illustrations and set to the song Knights of Cydonia by Muse.

Abril states that he created the the film as a labor of love as a tribute to the spirit of the Batman mythology and the awesomeness of the music of Muse. This film is terrific and we love the style of the tale and the storytelling involved.
