The Monster of Piedras Blancas Makes a Cameo

The Monster of the Piedras Blancas is a classic 1959 movie that is the red-headed stepchild of Creature from the Black Lagoon. We previously shared a story about the town where the film was made and its resurrection of the film’s legacy. Now, the terrifying monster has emerged yet again from it’s watery realm in this recent commercial for American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.

We also have the pleasure of seeing the lovely Jeanne Carmen in the scene where she encounters the Monster and lets out a terrific scream. Even the cat is stunned.
