Redditor mepper shared this stunning image of Vincent Van Gogh’s painting, Starry Night, re-imagined based on a mosaic of about 3,500 images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. The image was created by Alex H. Parker, a researcher at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, on evenings when cloud cover prevented him from conducting his research.

Posters of this image are available on Zazzle.
