Last of You: Teaser for Dan Sachar’s Sci-Fi Short

In 2011, Dan Sachar brought us the terrific sci-fi short film, Overture. He’s now released a teaser trailer for his upcoming project, Last of You.

“In a devastated world, Yonatan, the developer of a device which allows the re-experience of recorded memories, becomes obsessive about the last recollections of his late wife. When it’s time to move to a safer place and leave the memories behind, Yonatan holds on to the remnants of the past and refuses to face the harsh reality.”

The film looks incredible and we can’t wait to see the final project. The sense of devastation, loss, and hopelessness permeates throughout this short clip. The 28-minute short is being directed by Israeli filmmaker Dan Sachar and stars Yoav Donat and Maayan Weinstock.
