Kick-Ass 2: Intense Trailer, Hit Girl to the Rescue

In this latest trailer for Kick-Ass 2, Aaron Taylor-Johnson walks into a bad situation, at the direction of Hit Girl. He does OK for himself, he is Kick-Ass after all, but when things get out of control, Hit Girl shows up to take out the baddies.

Chloe Grace Moretz as Mindy Macready aka “Hit Girl” and the rest of the costumed citizen superheroes return on August 16, this time joined by Colonel Stars and Stripes portrayed by Jim Carrey. The team must defeat the Red Mist aka The Motherf**ker (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) who is assembling his own team of supervillains in pursuit of revenge. After Kick-Ass’s do-it-yourself vigilante bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes, Kick-Ass joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by The Motherf**ker only the blade-wielding Hit Girl can prevent their annihilation.

Kick-Ass 2 will be in U.S. theaters on August 16.
