How to Make a Star Wars Laser Blaster Sound

Adam Micolich, a physicist and associate professor at the University of New South Wales in Australia, tells us how to use a Slinky to recreate the laser blaster sounds from Star Wars. You can use a microphone to capture the sound or even a foam cup to amplify the sound of the Slinky. The results are really good and it seems like a great technique for all you Star Wars fanfilm makers out there.
