Patton Oswalt’s Star Wars Filibuster: Animated Short

During the filming for Parks and Recreation, Patton Oswalt ad-libbed a famous rant about what should be included in the new Star Wars Episode VII, due to be released on 2015. Unfortunately, Oswalt’s full eight-minute speech had to be cut for the television show, but was made available to Internet fans.

The rant was previously animated terrifically by Isaac Moores. Now, Nerdist has created an original animation of the rant which is also amazing and we’re happy to revisit this rant yet again, which famously  includes bringing in the “cream of the Marvel universe” including Iron Man and Spider-Man along with the Greek gods from Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans. And Boba Fett returns and ends up saving Luke Skywalker during a battle with the X-Men.
