Robot Month: Robot Design Contest at Legacy Effects

Have you ever wanted to design your own robot and have it become reality? To kick off Robot Month, the Stan Winston School is hosting a robot design contest. Contestants can submit their robot designs in a 3D modeling tool and submit an image of your design to enter the contest. The selected, winning designer will have their robot printed on Legacy Effects’ 3D prototype printer (a Stratasys Connex500), which is the same one used by Legacy Effects daily in their studio and which has been used to print Iron Man suits, Avatar pieces, Pacific Rim Jaegers, and more. How cool is that, design your most awesome robot and have it created for you by a profession effects team!
