New Details on Johnny Depp’s Transcendence

Transcendence is an upcoming science-fiction thriller starting Johnny Depp (who will play Will Caster) and Rebecca Hall (who plays Caster’s wife, Evelyn). The film is being directed by Wally Pfister, a cinematographer making his directorial debut. Pfister is being highly secretive about the film to this point, but recently shared a brief synopsis of the movie: “Will Caster, forefather of A.I., has his consciousness uploaded onto the Internet. Once there, is it really Will who is interacting with humanity in order to make things better, or a darker sinister clone bent on the termination of the world as we know it?”
