The Hunger Games: Catching Fire International Trailer

A new international trailer has been released for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second film in the Hunger Games trilogy. Based on Suzanne Collins’s second novel in the series, Catching Fire. The teaser sets the stage for conflict between Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rest of the Hunger Games victors (including Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) and Haymitch (Woody Harrelson)) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland). We also get to see Philip Seymour Hoffman as the conniving Plutarch Heavensbee.

The film begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be in theaters November 22.
