Everything Wrong with Godzilla (1998) in 7 Minutes

by Kenny Hoeschen

CinemaSins have given us some great looks at the sins of science fiction films before: Iron ManIron Man 2Superman Returns, Men In Black 3 and X-Men and X2: X-Men United. Since Godzilla is on the horizon for next year, having recently landed at Comic-ConCinemaSins looks back at the sad excuse for a Godzilla movie that crawled out of the ocean in 1998: Godzilla (starring Matthew Broderick). We here at MightyMega are huge fans of the old school Japanese Godzilla films and director Roland Emmerich forgot all the great stuff about those films when making his 1998 adaptation.

Where to begin with what’s wrong with this version of Godzilla? The CinemaSins guys catch a lot of the details, but we feel this film was just one giant sin.
