Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Simian Flu WarningsJuly 25th, 2013
The Simian Flu is dangerous and spreading quickly. Since 2011, the Simian Flu has affected 8.7 million people worldwide. Protect yourself, protect humanity. The producers of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes have launched a viral (pun intended) website to warn citizens about the dangers of the Simian Flu. The site provides information on the illness, including how it’s spread, the symptoms, and the projected worldwide growth of the disease.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes involves a group of scientists in San Francisco struggling to stay alive in the aftermath of a plague that is wiping out humanity, while Caesar (Andy Serkis) tries to maintain dominance over his community of intelligent apes. The cast includes Jason Clarke, Judy Greer, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to Rupert Wyatt’s revival of the sci-fi franchise Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Directing is Matt Reeves (Let Me In, Cloverfield), from a screenplay written by Mark Bomback, Scott Z. Burns, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled for release on July 28, 2014.
