Centrifuge Brain Project: Your IQ Will Skyrocket
July 22nd, 2013The Centrifuge Brain Project is a short documentary film about a fictional university study looking at the effects of extreme motion on human intelligence. Beginning with the relationship between playground rides and children’s IQs, the team, led by professor and chief engineer, Dr. Nick Laslowicz, the team gradually builds stronger and stronger devices to test the effects on adults. Although the early tests were a disaster, the team eventually was able to build some more successful rides.
The team develops a series of rides: The Spherothon, The Wedding Cake (who knew we had cell phones in 1985?), the High Altitude Conveyance — a 14-hour ferris wheel ride — The Expander, The Dandelion, and The Steam Pressure Catapult. The results on the riders is a “readjustment of key goals and life aspirations.”
The film was created by Till Nowak of Frambox Digital.
