LEGO 2001 A Space Odyssey: Dawn of Man

Everyone remembers the seminal scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey, the classic Stanley Kubrick/Arthur C. Clarke science fiction film. True Dimensions recreated the scene through the magic of LEGO. The recreation depicts the discovery of the monolith by the apes and the subsequent use of the bone-tool by one of the apes signaling the start of intelligent mankind. True Dimensions points out that the monolith has the correct proportions of depth, width and height (1:4:9). The scene also includes the boneyard and watering hole. One can almost hear Strauss playing in the background!
