Spider-Man: Homemade Webspinner Scene

by Kenny Hoeschen

How hard could it be to duplicate Spider-Man’s web-spinning, building-swinging skills? The guys at CineFix, who previously made a homemade version of a scene from the 1978 film Superman and a homemade version of the Star Wars trench run, give it a shot in this clip. The guys recreate the web shooter scene from 2002’s Spider-Man where Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) first learns to use his web shooters.

As with their previous homemade movies, the attention to detail is great, from the color of the truck that drives past to the billboards on the buildings across the street. The final result is not quite as real as the original, but A+ for effort from us. Be sure to check out the side-by-side comparison with the original scene below along with the behind the scenes “making of” video. Enjoy!
