Ryan Reynolds, Welcome to R.I.P.D.

In this new trailer for R.I.P.D., S.W.A.T. officer Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) is recruited to join the Rest In Peace Department. R.I.P.D. officers are tasked with defending the world of the living from dead souls who have returned from beyond. Walker is introduced to the Department by Proctor (Mary-Louise Parker) where he first realizes that he’s dead. Proctor gives him the choice of joining the R.I.P.D. or taking his chances with judgment. After singing up, Walker learns that his new identity in the land of the living isn’t what it used to be. The Sheriff seems to make out all right, however.
