The Flying Man: A New Type of Superhero

How would the world react if a vigilante superhero actually appeared in one of our cities? Would people embrace this form of justice or fear the superhero’s one man crusade against crime? The Flying Man is a short film envisioned, financed, produced, directed, edited  and co-written by Marcus Alqueres. The short depicts the first appearances of a super powered vigilante, his impact in a modern society and its ethical discussion.

How would we, as a society, actually react to one man becoming the judge, jury and potentially executioner in our cities? It’s an interesting question and this film is a nice contrast to many superhero films where the public seems to accept the roll of the superhero with little question.
