In Saturn’s Rings: Incredible First Official Teaser

In Saturn’s Rings is a ground-breaking high-resolution film that takes audiences on a journey of the mind, heart and spirit from the big bang to the near future via the Cassini-Huygens Mission at Saturn. The film is composed entirely of still photographs using innovative visual techniques developed by the filmmaker, Stephen van Vuuren. The film was created without visual effects by using hundreds of thousands of still images — taken by the Cassini-Huygens mission and 25 other sources — manipulated to create full motion, using “2.75D” photographic fly-through technology, a technique devised by van Vuuren.

The film will be shown in 4K resolution at IMAX and other high-definition venues throughout the U.S and the world.
