Time Travel in Movies and Television

We’ve shared a graphic previously that explained how time travel works in movies. Now we have this infographic that shows time travel from the worlds of both film and television. The graphic shows the method of time travel based on color, broken down into alien technology, force of nature, time machine, deep freeze or unknown.
The team, David McCandless, Dominic Busby, and Alice Cho, did 36 drafts during development of this graphic and, helpfully, put together a walkthrough of the process and how they got to this final graphic.
