New Elysium TV Spot: There’s No Coming Back
July 4th, 2013District 9 director Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium will be in U.S. theaters on August 9. In the meantime, we have a new TV spot showing Matt Damon’s character, Max, is involved in an on the job accident that threatens his life unless he can find help. It turns out that he can find help on Elysium, the most heavily guarded place in the universe, where the elite of society live in luxury and peace. Max also sees his opportunity to right the wrong that has created a utopia in space while the humans left behind suffer.
The film stars Matt Damon and Jodie Foster and is set in the year 2159 in a world where the very wealthy live a life of peace on a man-made space station called Elysium and all the rest live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth.
