Super Zero: A Geeky Teen Battles Zombies
June 30th, 2013Super Zero is a is a film for the average, the eccentric, and the powerless. Written and directed by Mitch Cohen, the film tells the story of a geeky, shy and terminally ill teen who rises from utter insignificance to become a Zombie Assassin and mankind’s last hope for survival. Cohen has previously worked on some memorable videos, most notably advertising videos for video games, including Batman: Arkham City, Borderlands, and Lollipop Chainsaw. The project also includes Producer Shane Spiegel (producer for CollegeHumor) and Cinematographer Idan Menin who studied under cinematographers who worked on Close Encounters of the Third Kind and True Blood.
The team has launched a Kickstarter to fund development of the film. For just $10 you get credit on the website plus access to a streaming version of the movie prior to its public release. If you pledge $50, you get your name on the big screen (in the film’s credits) and you can appear as a zombie or victim!
The Kickstarter campaign closes on August 1.
