My Little Geek: Kickstarter Pre-School Books & iPad App

The folks behind the wonderful children’s book, My Little Geek, are bringing out two new board books plus an iPad app, thanks to successful funding on Kickstarter. The Kickstarter campaign remains open until June 25 at 3:00 AM EDT, so you still have today to make a pledge. The two new books, Nerdy Numbers and Sci-fi Shapes are board books for teaching numbers (including the speed of light and Pi) and shapes (including the dodecahedron and twin helixes), respectively, to little cherubs. The iPad app will contain all three books: those two and the My Little Geek alphabet book and will include RPG elements, allowing your child to “level up” as they progress through the books and complete mini-games.

A pledge of just $36 gets you both books and $50 gets all three. $60 gets you all three books plus the iPad app. If you are generous, pledge $120 to get two full sets plus a letter and number wall chart to donate to your local library.
