Pacific Rim Jaeger Creation Concepts Video
June 19th, 2013We have another video related to the Jaegers created for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming action film Pacific Rim. In this clip, del Toro tells us he was heavily influenced by the anime of his youth and assembled a group of designers based on that. Beginning with silhouettes, the robots were developed to reflect each Jaeger’s personality. Check out the reference guide to Jaegers we pulled together here. He wanted the Jaegers to be unique and not look like those in any certain piece of anime or in any other movie.
Pacific Rim hits theaters July 12.
