Weapons of Superheroes and Supervillains

Many superheroes and supervillains would be nothing but ordinary citizens with inflated aspirations if it wasn’t for their weapons. Where would Thor, Batman, Doctor Octopus, or Freddy Krueger be without their signature weapons? Artist Daniel Nyari has put together a terrific chart of some of the most recognizable weapons from both superheroes and supervillains. The chart includes a great variety of weapons and if you can name half of them without looking at the legend at the bottom you’re doing better than we did.

See if you can find Lara Croft’s twin Heckler & Koch USPs, the bolt gun from No Country for Old Men, He-Man’s power sword, and Scorpion’s spear from Mortal Kombat.
