Superman IV: The Quest for Peace – An Honest Trailer

With Man of Steel entering the theaters tonight (June 14), the Screen Junkies bring us the honest movie trailer for the much derided 1987 film, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. This trailer for Christopher Reeve’s last performance as Superman, with Margot Kidder as Lois and Gene Hackman as Lex is laugh out loud funny.

Margot Kidder’s performance is truly awful. And where did the writers come up with than recipe for “Nuclear Man”? One part Superman’s hair + one part the Sun = Nuclear Man! And why is Nuclear Man’s voice overdubbed by Gene Hackman? “He scratched him!? Superman lost from a scratch!?”
