Science Fiction Short R’ha Being Made Into a Film

by Kenny Hoeschen

A few weeks ago, we featured the terrific short science fiction film, R’ha, a short film about the pending machine uprising. (We’ve embedded it again above.) Now, we’ve received news that Star Wars producer Rick McCallum is going to develop the project as a feature film along with Star Wars: Clone Wars producer Steve Tzirlin.

The short film’s director, Kaleb Lechowski, said this about the original project: “What inspires me and our team is that there are no humans whatsoever in the film, and yet Kaleb has come up with a world that is so engaging and so alive and so real that it really is very different from anything else I have seen in the sci-fi world.”
